CHIVALRY: Medieval Warfare is a first-person medieval online combat experience that seeks to deliver the intensity of epic hollywood medieval block busters to the hands of a gamer. Centered around melee combat in the middle ages, the game is skill-based and controls like a FPS, but instead of guns, players are given swords, shields, maces, longbows, catapults and many other medieval weapons and battle it out in lush medieval environments. Battles have multiple stages and objectives such as smashing in the castles gate with a battering ram or razing and pillaging your opponent’s encampment. When will the game be released? 16th october 2012. (Release date for retail may vary in different countries) What Platforms will the game be released on? Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is planned to initially release as a PC exclusive game. It is possible that if enough interest were to be generated that the game could release on other platforms in the future. Where will I be able to buy the game? In addition to the store on our website, the game will be available via STEAM and retail stores in Europe and Australia by Lace Mamba International. In Poland by CD PROJECT. You will also be able to buy the game at GameStop in North America (at GameStop you buy a code on receipt that you use to unlock access to the game). Are there horses or other mountable animals ingame? No, we have decided to focus our attention on delivering the highest quality foot-based melee combat because we believe that no commercial product has done this successfully yet. We would love to include horses in a possible sequel, but this depends on the success of the first game. Are you planning on releasing DLC? If so, will it be free? Yes and more yes. We are firm believers that gameplay-relevant DLC should be free, just do us a favour and tell your friends about it. Is there magic or monsters in the game? No, the lands of Agatha is fictional, but a realistic world. We believe that the magic and fantasy theme is overdone and feeling the excitement and rush of a medieval battlefield is best expressed by stabbing, gutting, impaling and decapitating people. Does the game include Single-Player Features? The game will not include a full-blown single-player campaign. It does how ever include Bots to play against in all game modes except Team objective.
