<p>We are now fully setup in the studio! To celebrate, we are going to focus in on patch 2 and recommit ourselves to communicating effectively and better supporting the game as a result.</p>
<p>We hear you, we care and we&#8217;re making changes.</p>
<p>First among those changes is every Friday we plan to give you a communications update on what we, the developers, are working on so you can follow our progress better and to improve overall communication. Here is a list of awesome stuff we&#8217;ve been working on:</p>
<p>- Global banlist is now fully functional again (So server operators make sure you are using it to reduce the presence of known hackers! The changes you need to make are listed here: <a href="http://www.Chivalrythegame.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=72&amp;t=9559">www.Chivalrythegame.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=72&amp;t=9559</a>)</p>
<p>- SDK (Custom Map Tools) progress is awesome, we&#8217;re close, no firm date on it yet but we&#8217;ve got it mostly working locally and are looking into Steam workshop integration.</p>
<p>- A beta of patch 2 is planned to release as soon as we hit the major bugs to help showcase some of our intended changes and to garner community feedback on them. (Including solutions/adjustments for facehugging, feinting, lookdown overheads, toggle sprint, ghost swings and more)</p>
<p>It is amazing how much faster you can work through issues being in the same room, and good things are coming for Chivalry. We would also like to truly thank you for helping this happen, being in this studio together has been our dream for so long and it&#8217;s incredibly motivating to be here. And we owe being here to you, for playing and loving Chivalry so much more than we ever thought possible.</p>

<p>Torn Banner Studios is looking for a talented Programmer to contribute to our recently released game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and future projects.</p>
<p>Torn Banner Studios is an exciting newly formed Independent studio who is looking for Talented Programmers to join their small team in pursuit of creating great games with a primarily First-Person Competitive nature.</p>
<p>As a member of the team you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and should expect a variety of issues and challenges to tackle from gameplay, debugging, UI, AI and other programming tasks.</p>
<p>In addition the role will require excellent communication skills as you will require heavy collaboration with team members from other departments.</p>

<p>- 2 or 3 Years Game Development Experience<br />
- Familiarity developing and debugging in:<br />
- UnrealScript<br />
- C/C++<br />

- Ability to work under tight deadline and make changes based on feedback.<br />
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.<br />

It makes us very happy to be able to say that so far our release has gone very well and player numbers are much stronger than expected, so we are very excited! Which is great news for you aswell- because us being excited means you get patches faster and more post-release content!</p>
<p>So far we have been primarily focused on getting bugs worked out and the first big patch is coming soon, hopefully within the next week or 2. Patch one includes: a complete remake of the server browser, fixed auto-balance, new ranged crosshairs, fixed javelins and keybind improvements among many other items highlighted by our community. After that we&#8217;re headed towards our first content update, which will bring a ton of new, free stuff to the game, first up includes new maps, new weapons and duel mode + plenty of surprises.</p>
<p>Basically what we are saying is, we are so happy with how things are going for the game and the reception we have been getting that we are committing to an insane amount of content updates for you guys. I also wanted to thank you all for your feedback so far, anyone who has been posting in our initial impressions post on the forums or just giving us suggestions or feedback along the way, it means a lot and we really are listening and trying to bring the content you guys are asking for. Everyone who has purchased the game has played a role in making our dreams come true and that is something we will remember.</p>

<p>Hello Everyone! Release week was completely insane- we are very happy with the interest in the game so far and even managed to hold the #1 sales spot on both Steam and Gamer&#8217;s Gate at various points throughout the week! We are very pleased that the game is being received so well and could not be more motivated to keep working on it as a result. We have a bunch of new content in the works for you but first we have to get to the fixes as we know there are some bugs that are holding some people back from enjoying the game. So, just 6 days after the release of our game we are announcing that:</p>
<p>We will be releasing the first hotfix tomorrow at 9AM PST.</p>
<p><strong>Changes:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Removed stats reset and improved rank/unlock system reliability (weapon unlocks will no longer reset)</li>
<li>Fixed crash with server browser</li>
<li>Fixed exploits.</li>
<li>Auto-Team Balance on by default in all official servers</li>
<li>Auto-Team Balance changes to give you notification and not count as death</li>
<li>Fixed being able to join servers that were already full and overload them</li>
<li>Now can only see game servers that are running the same version of the game as you are</li>

<p>We also want to make it clear- this is a hotfix, not a patch. So we know there are still bugs we need to fix and we are working on them, keep in mind its only been 6 days since release. Bugs suck and are frustrating, we understand and we are doing what we can to fix them! Further patches and updates are still coming- thank you for your patience and understanding.</p>
