New thread. Anything that is not a Level Design or Environment bug will be moved to the General Bug thread, or deleted if it is a known bug, to reduce clutter.

Please keep this to Level Design Issues only.

(F12 to take a screenshot saved to your Steam Profile.)

Also, open the console(~ or scroll lock) and type "debug" without quotes and hit enter. This will give you level coordinates you can post here as well. A screenshot will usually suffice though.


Level bugs are things such as:
-Stuck spots
-Areas that seem unfair
-Annoying collision
-Seams/Holes in the maps
-Areas you can exit the map
-Overlapping Meshes
-Lighting errors


The levels are:
Battlegrounds
Stoneshill
Hillside
Darkforest
Ruin
Arena
Moor
Tutorial Level

Don't know if this will be moved or if you guys are working on it. But on Hillside, the signal fire objective will often happened with no one near it. Which causes Mason to fail that objective even if their defending is superb. I don't know what causes this, but maybe you do.

EDIT: also I think you should add one more entrance to the signal fire side on Hillside, because on 64 player servers that main corridor becomes super congested. Like one more hallway from the attackers side to the signal fire staging area.

Yeah, Signal Fire should be all fixed up for Patch 1.

For the second one, you can go through the caves on the left as attackers and it takes you around the side to the signal fire.

I'll take a screenshot to show you the how that area is congested too. I think on the opposite side, you need an entrance as well so there would be 3 ways that defenders must watch. I know it was designed around 32 players. But, just for future reference, maybe it can be dynamic where if it is >32 players a 3rd path opens up?(or just a map with "64" at the end of the name which would be a variant map, so servers with large games can choose all maps with "64" in it. Each 64 variant would add little things to accommodate 64 players. Just a thought)

EDIT: Great to hear about the signal fire fix!

i take it you guys know about the lighting bug in the arabic level (i just keep forgetting its name)? When people are in the water at the stairs area, the sun light does not shine on them. It looks like they are in the shade.

Hello good-sires of the realm of Torn-Banner. I have found two particular glitches which give an extremely unfair-advantage to thou, whom enjoys seeing through thy walls!

First of on 'Hillside'

When thou goes under thy bridge, he may rub-up against thy stone and look up, only to notice he can see thoth enemy atop thy bridge!

Secondly on "DarkForest'

When thou is up upon thou bridge during the first-set of objectives (Wooden Structure) On the far left, looking towards Mason's Deployment... any good footmen of the realm can 'Literally go through the wall and become invisible!'

I just had to register in order to share these images!
During a game on dark forest, someone appeared to drive the catapult across the map. It then appeared floating off on the horizon.
Walking over where the catapult should have been resulted in either being teleported to the catapults new location or being launched into the air.

This was on an official 32p TO server.

Whilst it was a lot of fun it should be fixed.
Even with the bugs its a great game! :D
